2 Ply or 3 Ply

Ply refers to the number of fabric layers for the face covering. A 2-ply face mask has 2 layers of material and tends to be a more economic option. A 3-ply face covering is constructed of 3 layers of protection. While both work well as face coverings, often the 2-ply is comfortable and economic while the 3-ply offers an additional layer.
